Tall ships Parade America’s 250 Anniversary  

July 4th, 2026, is no ordinary Independence Day—this year marks America’s 250th anniversary, and celebrations will be happening nationwide. One of the most anticipated events on the East Coast will take place right in New York City. 

New York Harbor will host the largest‑ever flotilla, featuring more than 50–60 international tall ships and naval vessels sailing together in a spectacular tribute to the nation’s milestone birthday. This impressive parade of ships will travel the length of the harbor, from the Verrazzano Bridge all the way to the George Washington Bridge. 

Spend July 4th soaking up summer in the city and experiencing everything New York has to offer. 

You’ll be dropped off and picked up at a central Manhattan location, giving you the freedom to choose your ideal viewing spot for the parade and explore nearby attractions at your own pace.
