As the name suggests, the event commemorates the time the Continental Army marched out of Valley Forge after their six-month winter encampment. This is one of the area's biggest events and not to be missed. Each year, crowds gather to honor this historic occasion.
In addition to the reenactments, visitors can enjoy displays and interactive workshops that educate guests about what life was like for a soldier in the Continental Army. Women also played a crucial role during these times you will get an opportunity learn about how women and children in the encampment supported the soldiers.
As you walk along you may learn about artillery, cannons, and drilling, as well as witness demonstrations of black powder musket firing.
